The structure serves as a research laboratory and storage space. This part should be detachable from the rest of the vehicle so that it can be used as a stationary facility. At the same time, it is possible to continue exploring the surroundings with the motorized part of the vehicle.

In order to design the interior of the laboratory as well as possible, the cabin has extended side walls with extendable telescopic supports. Due to the variable length of these supports, a horizontal and thus comfortable position of the laboratory can be guaranteed.
